Challenges
Challenge 1 - Payment System:
Due to the business budget, stakeholder doesn't want to use payment integration
Possible Solutions
Approach 1 - Cash on Delivery:
The first solution comes up my mind is choosing cash on delivery service to give better solutions for both stakeholders and customers.
Approach 2 - Prepaid system:
This approach is a lil bit tricky yet suitable for current situations for Myanmar. Stakeholders would like to purchase items first then
After evaluating both payment methods, the prepaid system was selected as it aligns better with Myanmar users’ purchasing behavior and provides more reliability for stakeholders. This approach minimizes delivery risks while ensuring a smoother transaction flow and higher trust between buyers and sellers.
Information Architecture
After discussing about this flow with my project manager, I got to know that the delivery price will be added when customers add their township in address field.
We have more features added in High Fidelity state but I will discuss about that in High Fidelity section.
Style Guide
Given the project’s short timeline and the company’s limited budget, project manager and I decided to adopt the Material Design System to streamline the design process and reduce development time.
Mid Fidelity
Due to the short time for this project and the company's tight budget, I decided to use Material Design System to reduce the duration for design system.

Checkout Screens
Together with stakeholders, we implemented a prepaid payment method that aligns with Myanmar’s current payment practices, allowing users to select a payment option and upload their payslip as proof of transfer.
One potential issue we identified was the possibility of users submitting false payslips. To address this, we temporarily adopted a manual verification process — a short-term solution that ensures transaction integrity, though it’s not yet scalable.

What I learned
This project taught me that good design isn’t just about introducing new technology, it’s about meeting people where they are. In Myanmar, many users, especially older ones, are still adapting to digital tools. I learned to balance innovation with empathy, creating solutions that feel familiar, simple, and trustworthy instead of overwhelming
